New York, New York

I live in New York, a place that never fails to give me a sense of world but can be a cozy home when I want it to be. One of the best times to enjoy New York is holiday afternoons and early evenings between Thanksgiving and Christmas. Stores after stores, trees, lights, music and smiles... The holiday atmosphere blends so well into the city and makes it softer than usual - the busy and cold New York gets homey and warm.... Walking on the Upper East Side seeing families out there having fun and doing their shopping is such a joy. I feel so peaceful to just watch them and secretly share their happiness. This is the moment you feel being is so simple but so good.
